Bob the Shaped digi card

Here is the Bob the Builder card I promised. This is a free digital stamp, it is actually a coloring book image that I resized in Photoshop CS3, but Michelle, my daughter, assures me that the resizing can be done with Word or other word processing program. I sized the image to be approximately (slightly smaller) the size of half of an 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper. I situated the image on the right hand side of the stamping quality paper and printed it with my Canon inkjet printer. After the image printed, I colored it with my Copic markers and then scored the card so that my score line was hitting at Bob's elbow and left side of his shoe so that I would have a hinge. I then cut the folded image with good scissors. This is a really cute card for a little child. The website that I found the image is www.coloring-book.info/coloring/
This is a fun site to play around in.

Here is another card, made the same way that my daughter Michelle made, she had a fun time making this one and asked me to include it on my blog! Here ya go, Chelle. This image came from "The Littlest Petshop" coloring book.

Monster Card - Digital stamps

Hi all, This is my first foray into the world of digital stamps! I found this cute monster on http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com, it is a freebie. I thought he was so cute and really fun to color with my Copics. I used paper from two different Debbie Mumm paper stacks. I used my nestabilities Large Labels for the monster image and nestabilities rectangles, both regular and scalloped for the sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from hero Arts "Anytime Messages" (CL129) and the ribbon is American Crafts. This was a fun card and I really like the fact that digital stamps are resizeable to better fit any project! (Be on the lookout for a special Bob the Builder card that I have dreamed up using a digital stamp I found!)((Of, course I have to see what Bob looks like in color! LOL)) Don't forget to leave me a comment, Please!! :-)

Here is a new photo of Jeremy taken a few days ago, he is such a joy!

Cupcake Birthday Card

I have several new cupcake stamp sets (purchased in my marathon Atlanta craft shopping excursion) This card was a fast fun card using the "Birthday Cupcake" Inkadinkado stamp set for the cupcake and Hero Arts "Birthday Messages" (CL 139) clear stamp set for the sentiment. I used Momento ink and some Gelly Roll Stardust pens to add some glimmer to the cupcake. The ribbon and the cupcake brad (isn't it just too cute??!!) are from my personal stash. I used a premade card bought from Michaels (I am trying to use these up), the bright pink paper was some from my stash and the cute gingham paper is from Debbie Mumm (for Joann's Fabrics and Crafts) Nursery Rhyme paper stack. I used my Spellbinders nestabilities and a Martha Stewart Punch. This was a fun card using some of my new tools, I had a great time creating this card.

Pirate Thank ye card

This was a real quicky card that I created to give to a friend who loaned me 10 bucks when we were out shopping! (Thanks Friends) I used a stamp from Stampin Up's "Ahoy matey" Stamp set and I colored it with Copic markers and Atyou Spica Markers for the brass on the treasure chest. I used some printer paper that looks like parchment that I tore and then inked the edges (not neatly on purpose) with Momento ink in brown. I hand wrote the sentiment in Pirate speak since I didn't have a stamp that worked. My friend loved the card so I am happy with that!

The Train Card

Gene and I went to Atlanta, he went for business and I went to shop for craft supplies! LOL Here on the Outer Banks we do not have a craft store. One of the many many things I bought was a Martha Stewart Train border punch that you see along the top of this card.(I bought 9 different MS border punches so you will be seeing more, I used one on my Mother's Day card too) I think this card is so cute, the stamp is from Hero Arts "Precious Baby" set (CL264) and I colored it with my Gelly Roll Stardust pens. The striped glitter paper is from a Debbie Mumm stack that I purchased at Joann's and the orange is from my stash, the card was a pre-made one from Michaels. The ribbon is from Archivers, I do not know what brand though. The brads are also from my stash.

A Pretty Little Girl

This card was so much fun to create The stamp is from Stampin Up's "Summer By The Sea" stamp set (Have I mentioned how much I love this set?) She is colored with Copic markers and matted with papers from my stash. I used a pre-made card that I purchased at Michaels. The ribbon is from Stampin Up (I believe). I did not put a sentiment on this card, I will customize it for whatever occasion I decide to use it. I do like to make some cards without sentiments and add them at the last minute that way when I am short on time (which is often) I can spend a minute or two, add a sentiment and then I have a nice handmade card to send off.

One more for today!

This little card is a great card for a little boy (I seem to be into little boy cards since having a Grandson) There is no sentiment inside since I thought I would customize it for whomever I decide to sent it to, I feel like it would be a great birthday card, welcome to the new little boy etc. The snail stamp is from Hero Arts "Precious Baby" set (CL264) and the giggle sentiment is from the Fiskars "Love" Clear stamps set, the snail is colored with Copics and I used my nestabilities for the snail and the mat. This Fiskars set is really great with 36 different sentiments and they are fun. The ribbon is from my stash as well as the brads. The paper is from the Debbie Mumm Stack.

Boy at Beach Birthday card

This card is one that I love, it is a stamp from the Stampin Up "Summer by the Sea" set, (I love all of the stamps in this set.) The little boy is colored with Copic sketch markers. The papers are ones I had in my stash and the ribbon I had as well (sorry) I just love the colors in this card but this card gave me a fit, I made one and them decided that it would look better if I used my Cuttlebug and the florishes embossing folder that kind of looks like waves, then I used a different ribbon and hated the card, once I changed the ribbon, I was in love again! LOL

Finally Back!

It has been a long while since I have posted, a new baby in the house is keeping me especially busy! I have been making cards as I can carve out a few minutes here and there, I am posting a few, forgive me if I can't remember all of the "ingredients" of each card, plus I am using cardstock etc. that I have had in my stash for years.
This is the cards I made for my Mother for Mother's Day, I used Hero Art's stamp set "Happy Mom's" CL334, the image was colored with Copic sketch markers, the paper was from the Citrus Stack by DCWV the flower brad and pearls were some that I had. The papers had glitter and I glittered the bird's bodies with my Gelly Roll Stardust pens in clear.

This is the inside of my Mother's Day card, the sentiment came from the Hero Art's "Happy mom's" set as well as he rose, I thought it was a nice sentiment. My Mom loved the card so that is great!
