What I am going to do about the MTC Provo Craft issue
As many of you know MTC and Provo Craft settled out of court and the end result is that MTC will no longer have the drivers to allow us to use the Cricut with MTC. (if you have MTC and DO NOT update it, you will continue to be able to use MTC with your Cricut) I have backed up my current version of MTC so that I will always be able to use MTC with my Cricut. The problem with this arrangement is that Andy is so great about incorporating great features into MTC and I am sure that I will want to be able to use these updates that are surely coming! My Husband and I have talked about this and we have decided that I will be buying a Black Cat Cougar in the future (as soon as I have saved the money for it) I will keep my Cricut since I have about 50 cartridges and I do like some of them but I am truly a svg and MTC kinda gal! I have many many svgs and I would rather use them than a cartridge, many times a cart will only have a few images that I truly like, that being said I used two different ones today! I really wish that Provo Craft had more regard for their Customers, since really, we are the ones who are being punished by this decision, I have lost all of my respect for the Provo Craft Company but I do still love my red Cricut.(It isn't his fault that he has bad parents! LOL, and yes, my Cricut is a boy) I will be back either today or tomorrow with a new project to post, I won Best in Show at the Baltimore Cricut Circle Event last weekend and the prize was a Yudu!! I haven't played with it yet but soon!! I will be showing you my "Best in Show" Project!

Can't wait to see your pictures!!!
Congratulations on "Best in Show"! It sounds like we've been having similar thoughts this weekend regarding Provo Craft. I'm stuck with my Cricut for now. It's sad that they couldn't see MTC was only bettering their product. They may have stopped MTC but also left alot of their customers frustrated and now looking for other options.
Thanks, Tammy, for stating what MANY of us feel about the Provocraft GOLIATH attacking and trying to silence the "small guy" (Andy) who was just filling a need in the crafting community that PC refuses to acknowledge. I hope they get our message loud and clear. I too am saving up for a Cougar! I look forward to many beautiful ideas from you! As always, thank you!

I said nearly the same thing on my blog a week or so ago. It just saddens me that PC can't see what a great thing this was for them.
Completly agree about PC. I will be saving up for a new machine too. Congrats on the Best in Show!
